О нас

Создано в нашей мастерской, а не по пресс-релизам.

We started Build Coded because most DIY content online is either too basic (“just screw it together!”) or assumes you already have a full workshop. We write for people who want to build real things, whether that’s your first shelf or your tenth piece of furniture.

What We Believe

The best project is the one you finish. We write guides that get you from start to done, with clear steps, realistic tool lists, and honest cost breakdowns. No gatekeeping, no shame about using pocket-hole joinery.

Our Editorial Standards

Every tool recommendation comes from hands-on testing. Every project has been built at least once by someone on our team. We don’t run sponsored content.

  • No paid reviews or brand partnerships
  • All tools are tested in real workshop conditions
  • Project costs include everything, not just the wood
  • We update guides when better methods or tools come along

The Team

Marcus Webb

Marcus Webb

Editor & Lead Builder

Former general contractor who spent 12 years building and renovating homes before switching to writing about it. Runs editorial and writes the woodworking, home improvement, and tool review content. His garage workshop is organized by project type, not tool type, which he will defend to anyone who asks.

Danny Herrera

Danny Herrera

Electronics & Smart Home

Electrical engineering background, self-taught woodworker. Covers electronics projects, smart home setups, soldering guides, and anything that plugs in or blinks. Owns more Arduino boards than he’d like to admit. Believes that every home project is better with a well-placed LED strip.
